CKP wordleCommunity Kitchen Program of Calgary is a "Working Warehouse". We appreciate the help we receive immensely as it assists us in changing the lives of Calgarians from "Poverty to Possibility".

Group Volunteer Opportunities:
Good Food Box Program – Bagging Produce.
Good Food Box Program – Boxing Produce.
Driver’s Assistant for Good Food Box Program deliveries.
Sorting Donations.
Building Welcome Home Hampers.

Individual Volunteers:
Small Events.
Sorting Donations.

Required Age:
12 -16 yrs (accompanied by an adult)
17- 85 yrs
No Children under 12 allowed even with adult supervision.

Volunteer Hours:
Monday –Thursday. (Times may vary)
Occasional Evenings.

Dress code:
Casual, loose fitting clothing.
Closed toed comfortable footwear (boots, runners, etc.)

Other info:
Community Kitchen Program is a non-smoking and scent free environment.
Parking is available on the south side of the building for Volunteers only.
Community Kitchen Program’s warehouse is regularly monitored for safety regulations.

Many of these opportunities are fantastic for corporate groups, as a great team building project! Community Kitchen Program of Calgary runs many different programs therefore, volunteers are greatly needed.  VOLUNTEERING DURING A DISASTER RESPONSE


If Community Kitchen Program is in need of Volunteers during a Disaster or Emergency Response, it will be advertised and you must first contact
Sundae at (403) 538-7379

Once you have confirmed, please note that a police check is not needed and the only required information is minial and will be given on site along with the signing of a Waiver.
