What is welcome home?
Welcome Home is a Hamper program designed to help those coming out of transitional housing and homelessness. Contents of each hamper vary depending on the size of the family.
Hamper requests are only accepted from agencies and not Individual.
What's included in the hampers?
An average hamper will contain the following:-Canned goods- Canned goods-Dry goods-Condiments (will vary)-Cleaning supplies and household items-Hygiene Products
Who is eligible for a hamper?
Only agencies can apply for a hamper for their clients. Individual requests are not accepted.
If you are an agency that requires Welcome Home Hampers, please contact the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank (as they supply us food items and all of our referrals) and ask for a Welcome Home Hamper form.
Once the request is made and approved, the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank then sends it to us and we fill the request.
Agency pick up times are as follows:
Tuesday through Thursday: 10:00am – 12:00pm, 1:00pm – 3:00pm
