Lemon Mousse Dessert | Ep. 4 | Cooking in the Community Kitchen

Ingredients
1 packet of unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 Tblsp grated lemon rind
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup plain or lemon yogurt
1 cup whipping cream
Preparation
In a saucepan sprinkle gelatin over cold water. Let stand for 1 minute to soften.
Stir over low heat until gelatin dissolves. Mix in lemon rind, lemon juice and 1/2 cup sugar.
Stir in yogurt.
In a bowl, whip cream with the remaining 1/2 cup sugar, beat together with an electric or hand mixer. Combine the lemon mixture and the whipped cream.
Put dessert into small bowls and refrigerate for about 4 hours, or until chilled, before serving. This recipe can be doubled and also frozen.
