In this episode, it’s a continuation talking about kitchen gadgets!
Crockpot or slow cooker - some people get confused if they’re different or the same thing - they have interchangeable titles, but no difference in function. Crockpot is the brand name of a slow cooker. Crockpots are great for soups, sauces, chilis, stews, roasts! Anything you’d like to cook low and slow.
Roasting pans - comes with a lid, great for roasting chicken, turkey, vegetables, roast beef, very versatile. Disposable roasting pans are an option as well, but ensure you put it on a baking sheet to stabilize.
Kitchen scales - great measurement tool, digital or balance scale. Balance scales have a spring on the bottom to weigh the food item. Digital scales are great for precise measurement, especially in baking.
Rolling pin - they come in wood, plastic, glass, to name a few. Wooden ones are great and larger ones to complete the task, do not put wooden rolling pin in water - it will warp the wood. Wipe with damp cloth, dry and put away.
Tea kettle - stovetop or electric. Helps to get the water nice and hot for your cup of tea or coffee!
Happy Cooking!
